Good Bits
- Wonderful 2 litre t-spark engine, oil kept checked!
- All the usual Alfa extras - air con, electric windows, power steering, abs etc
- All the usual extras work - air con blows nice and cold
-Beautiful Proteo Red metallic - pictures really do not do the car justice!
- Much less thirsty than the v6, but much more fun than the 1.8!
- She's just done on 100,000 miles - HOWEVER - at 62k the engine was rebuilt, so engine is now good for many many more miles
- Does not look anything like a 9 year old, 100k car!
- Head unit hooks up to your iPod - iPod sits in the glove box, all controls are handled through head unit in dash.
- Full Recaro sport interior (the one with the pop out leg support bits!)
- Next service due @ 120,000 miles
- Regularly serviced last few years by Alfa Workshop in Royston
- Do not have the original service book, but do have a folder full of history going way back when.
- MoT not due till November.
- Tax due end of April, but will add a 6 month ticket prior to your purchase.
- It's a normal manual car - no unreliable Selespeed gearbox to worry you!
Bad Bits (gotta be honest, it is an Alfa after all!)
- There is a little ding in the rear quarter (see highlighted image) from where a white van man clipped me coming out of the parking space next to me in Tesco. I have touched this in - it's barely noticeable unless you're looking for it, but quoted £100 to repair.
